Have you ever found yourself thinking the following:

What is the meaning or purpose of life? Or, why is life so hard, why are there so many difficulties and troubles in it? Have you ever thought: There has to be more to life than what I see, understand, or experience?

Is life not more than your occupation or career? Is life not more than gaining your own home and becoming financially stable? Is life not more than the food you eat? Is life not more than your physical appearance and the clothes you wear? Is life not more than your surrounding friends and family?

The truth is, whether we like it or not, all these things pass, whether it is your career, your financial status, the family you raise, your physical appearance, etc. No matter how much you try to hold on to these things and put your heart into it – they will All pass! Your children will grow up, eventually move on to their own lives, and One Day – it will be time to depart from Everything and leave this world. The world you held on to and lived for. And when that time comes, will it matter how many children you had? What career you did or did not gain? What you looked like? What you ate or wore? If you really look at life seriously, seeking for the one and only Truth which the Bible speaks about, you will begin to see that all these things aren’t really Life. There is only one kind of Life – and that is in Jesus Christ Himself, who came to save us and who came to this world to speak about Life itself! To this day, His words still speak! But do we Really hear them?

What exactly did Jesus Christ come to do for us? Almost all Christians answer: to free us from sin, to save us. But if we are sincere to ourselves, our hearts, then did this actually occur in me? Did He indeed free me from sin, from my sinful nature, or am I still living by Romans Chapter 7, where, it is written: “For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me… O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?”

If you read further, Romans Chapter 8 clearly shows another state of a person:

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. (Romans Chapter 8)

In 1 John Chapter 3, the Bible answers why Jesus Christ came:

And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous…Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (1 John Chapter 3)

Perhaps you skipped over these verses before? But have you ever wondered what exactly do they mean? How do you make sense of them? For it clearly states that a person born of God does not sin! Is that even possible? Well, if you look at yourself right now and compare to yourself, you will most likely answer “No, that’s not possible!” But, if you read and dissect the word of God – you will see, that God doesn’t tolerate any untruth and that only the righteous shall inherit the Kingdom of God. The Bible clearly states that nothing impure shall enter His Kingdom. Therefore, it is very important to look into all these questions and figure out:

  • Do I believe in the One and Only God?
  • Do I believe that there is only One Truth? (as it is written)
  • Have I found this One Truth which truly sets one free from sin?
  • What is Sin?
  • How can I be born again?

All of these questions are important and we will be seeking to answer them on our website, so please browse around.

In Hebrews Chapter 7, it is written:
“For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, made higher than the heavens; who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.”

Hebrews Chapter 9:
“But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh; How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?…”

“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation…” Hebrews 9:28

Beware, Christ will come a second time to gather His righteous and holy people! He will not come a second time to free us from sin! It is important to become sin-free while still here on this earth! While there is still Today, the Day of Salvation!
