What is hope? Everyone has hope. Everyone has hope to receive something for their walking, their faith, their work. But what is the True hope, the hope that will not put you to shame, that will not fail?
“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16
A person spends his life spinning around in vanity, attempting to make his life better here on earth. But all this chaos and work will not give you eternity. Be careful not to be distracted by this vanity. Seek first the Kingdom of Heaven!
How do you know whether you follow man or whether you follow God? It is a question of life and death. Whoever you follow, you will be interested in them, in their words, their way. If you are following God, you will be interested in His Word, His Teaching, His Way, His Will. The words that you follow were either spoken by God or by man… God spoke a pure, clean word. Do you follow the Pure teaching of Jesus Christ, as it is written in the Bible, without any deviations?
A message came from Above, information came from God Himself – that the person is freed from the old nature, once and for all, through Christ, through His death and resurrection. Who believes that today?
Any person that begins to believe something, begins to tell others what they believe. If a person believes that there is a big sale in a really expensive store and everything is 90% off – what do they do? They run over there, try that faith out, and if it worked – they begin to tell others. If a person says I have faith in something, but they do not act on it or tell others about it – that means that faith is dead, it has no substance, it is just information that is not acted upon, which bears no fruit. Faith is always driven by word, by information that you hear. Once you hear that information, if you believe it, then you will act on it…
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:2)
Renewing of your mind – what does that mean? Does that mean that you continuously and slowly reform your mind? Does that mean that you thought by thought make your mind better? Renewing of your mind happens on the cross. It happens once, when you are buried and resurrected in Jesus Christ! After you have a brand new mind, then your mind is renewed every day, because you grow in your new mind. The old mind has to be put to death, and the new mind has to be born again. That is the teaching of Jesus Christ. But what is your mind? Is your mind in your head? Your mind is actually in your heart. It includes understanding, knowledge, judgement, thoughts, and all of those things come from your heart. Watch Video Below!
“O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” (Romans 7:24) How many times have you heard this scripture in sermons that justify the sinful nature of a person? Typically it goes like this: “well even Paul called himself a wretched man, that he’s a sinner. And if Paul was like this, then what can we say about ourselves?” But what is Paul really writing about here? Is this the condition (the condition of a wretched man) of a person who is born again, born from above? Paul is writing about the condition of war, a condition where you are in constant battle between the law (which is good) and sin (which is bad). This is the condition of a person who is under the law. Christ came to free us from the law and from the wretched state, from sin!
No believer in God wants to sin. A person repents, renounces the committed sins, but never comes to the essence of the sin! No matter how much he repents – the sin continues to produce its fruits, and they appear and express themselves again and again. There will be no victory, until a person finds the truth and realizes the essence of sin. So what is Sin? Watch video below!
Do you agree that words have power? With words you can hurt someone, push someone away; with words you can also gain a person, hold them up; with words you can start a war and with words you can stop this very same war. Words are All around us: on the radio, on Facebook, on television, or how today is very common – on our mobile devices… but what word can give us freedom?
Today Julia interviews Olga about a recent Blog “Don’t Judge a Book By It’s Cover,” in which Olga describes a recent experience she had.
I’ll praise you on and on, I’ll never let go!
I am no longer attached to this world.
No matter what occurs, I know,
It’s a blessing from You, my Lord!
And You’re the only One I want to live in me,
‘Cause you’re the only Love!
