Once we have died for this world, we have been crucified for ALL idols and all things of this world, and have been born again a NEW creature, pure and free. “And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” (Galations 5:24) YET there is still a warning for those that have been born again to KEEP yourselves from idols. “Little children, keep yourselves from idols.” (1 John 5:21) It is a question about distractions! If ANYTHING other than God consumes you or distracts you, that is an idol!
Paul is telling Corinthians that the suffering he is undergoing is really for them. How was Paul’s suffering for the Corinthians? To bring it back to us and our life, how is it that my suffering is for someone else or vice versa? We can be of help to one another much more than just quoting scriptures, but quoting scriptures with supported real life experiences! That is how a real Body of Christ works and grows in love. If you are in the same body, ONE BODY, then you are experiencing things together, upholding one another in Faith!
Our hearts should be in the future, not in the past! Do you have a future? What future is awaiting you? Is heaven awaiting you?
Life in Christ is simple, it starts with a belief that I have died for everything and I’ve resurrected a NEW being in Christ! You then live like a new being, having no past. The only thing that gets in the way is doubt!
Today the message that we are saved by Grace and not by works is everywhere and not new. Unfortunately, the devil has taken this message and made another religion out of it. He took it to the extreme where people today don’t even care how their hearts are! Christ never taught not to worry about your heart. What will appear when Christ comes, is not what you know, say, or think, but your inner being. And if there is no Christ there, no peace, no love, you will not rise with Him! It is extremely important and serious to really look at yourself and not be so shallow!
“Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in *once* into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” (Hebrews 9:12-14)
The Name of the Lord is the only Hope,
The Name of the Lord is the strongest Fort!
The Name of the Lord will praise the humble hearts,
In the Name of the Lord we found Life!
We do not belong to any religious denomination, we are simply Christians, sincere believers! Our faith is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ, without any additions, rules, commandments of men, traditions or regulations. We went back to the very beginning, when the Church was born through the Apostles and the believers were called Christians. God is our Life and our daily Bread!
Sometimes the storm can be inside,
Tough situations come like a flood.
And different troubles try to bite!
Where is my peace? Where is my trust?
And if the storm is around us,
I have my peace, I have my trust!
And I am saved by Holy blood,
I am Your child, You are my God!
