Does your faith work?

It is interesting how in James chapter 2 it is written that faith, without works, is dead. This shows that it is possible to have faith, but if the faith doesn’t have works (if the faith doesn’t work!), this faith is in vain, it is dead! Such serious words! So what kind of works should my faith have? If you are a serious believer, it is important to ask yourself – does my faith work? Does my faith give me eternal life?

What are you driven by?

Faith. We hear this word a lot. In fact, we not only hear it, whether we acknowledge this or not, we actually Live by it. When you wake up in the morning, you are driven by faith. When you go to bed at night, you are driven by faith. When you go to work, you are driven by faith, and when you get in your car and drive, you are also driven by faith.

Faith is what keeps you going, faith is what causes your actions, and faith is also what causes your inner thoughts. But what is exactly is faith? I think sometimes we make it out to be a complex idea, or perhaps something a bit cloudy, nebulous, unexplainable. But in reality, faith is quite simple.

The Power of Words

With words you can hurt people, push someone away; with words you can gain a person, hold them up; with words you can start a war and with words you can stop this very same war. Words are All around us: on the radio, on Facebook, on television, or how today is very common – on our mobile devices. Words can make you happy – for example, when you hear goods news. Likewise, words can make you sad – when you hear or read of sad news. Words really do have power! They have power to destroy, power to build up. But sometimes, I think that we do not give enough credit or importance to the power and action of words.
