Everyone born of Christ, is the same as Christ and is of the blood of Christ, which is blameless and sinless. “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” (2 Timothy 2:19) You cannot step away from all untruth and iniquity if you are not born again. You can try, but you will keep failing again and again, because the old nature will continue to produce the same fruits. So how do you know if you are born again? Watch video to learn more.
We as humans always think about something. Initially, when Adam and Eve were created, their thoughts were mostly about what to eat, or where to sleep. But a lot has changed since then. When man ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, their thoughts changed. Their way of thinking became full with evil intentions, with an evil heart. However, Jesus came with the opposite state, with a pure heart, completely different from Adam. Now we have a choice to obtain that same pure heart!
“O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” (Romans 7:24) How many times have you heard this scripture in sermons that justify the sinful nature of a person? Typically it goes like this: “Well even Paul called himself a wretched man, that he’s a sinner. And if Paul was like this, then what can we say about ourselves?” But what is Paul really writing about here? Is this the condition (the condition of a wretched man) of a person who is born again, born from above? Paul is writing about the condition of war, a condition where you are in constant battle between the law (which is good) and sin (which is bad). This is the condition of a person who is under the law. Christ came to free us from the law and from the wretched state, from sin!
